Southeast Regional Championships

New Age Divisions: The ESA is introducing a new format for the 2024 Southeast Regionals, April 12-14 in Melbourne Beach, FL, with competitors only being permitted to compete in their actual age divisions, (your age as of January 1st, 2024). Competitors signing up for the 2024 ESA Southeast Regionals are instructed to register only in their actual age divisions. Register at LiveHeats.com Competitors must sign-up by 11:59PM on March 31, 2024 in order to reserve their slot. If you register after that date, your registration will be considered a “late paid alternate” and you will be put on the alternate list. New Open Divisions: Competitors may also sign up for the newly restructured Open Divisions.These divisions are open to all ages and include: Mens Open Shortboard, Womens Open Shortboard, Mens Open Longboard and Womens Open Longboard. See below regarding invitations for all Open Divisions.

 

Mens Open Divisions: If you competed in Open Shortboard or Open Longboard during the 2023 ESA District Season you may be eligible to register for the newly created Mens Open Shortboard (All Ages) or Mens Open Longboard (All Ages). Check the 2024 ESA Southeast Regionals Invitation List to see if you received a slot.

 

Womens Open Divisions: Slots for the newly created Womens Open Shortboard (All Ages) and Womens Open Longboard (All Ages) will be offered to some of our highest ranking female competitors from our female divisions during the 2023 District Season. Check the 2024 ESA Southeast Regionals Invitation List to see if you received a slot.

 

Slotting Information below: Slotting information is available on the ESA website at www.surfesa.org by clicking on the Competition tab and choosing Southeast Regionals. This file will be available there for viewing to confirm that you have received a slot invitation to the 2024 ESA Southeast Regionals. Alternates slots will only be available if any of the slotted competitors pass on their invitations. We will only be slotting a limited number of alternates so if you are interested in registering for a potential alternate slot, please register before the deadline. Please be aware that alternates registering for the event are not guarenteed a slot.
