North Shore, Oahu – The Eastern Surfing Association (ESA) is thrilled to announce the arrival of its All-Star ladies to the iconic North Shore of Oahu. This elite group of surfers, representing the best of the East Coast, is set to conquer some of the world’s most renowned surf breaks, including Laniakea, Haleiwa, and Sunset Beach.
The ESA All-Star program provides these talented athletes with an unparalleled opportunity to train in Hawaii’s legendary surf conditions. Under the guidance of top-tier coaches and local surfing legends, the All-Star ladies will hone their skills, tackle challenging waves, and immerse themselves in the rich surfing culture of the North Shore.
“This trip is a dream come true for our All-Star ladies,” said Michelle Sommers, ESA Executive Director. “Surfing the North Shore is a rite of passage for any surfer, and we are proud to offer this transformative experience to our All-Stars. It’s not just about the waves; it’s about personal growth, building confidence, and creating lifelong memories.”

The All-Star ladies will spend their time navigating the powerful waves of the North Shore while learning from seasoned professionals including Josh Moniz, Chris Gallagher, Ashton Goggins and others. The program also emphasizes respect for local culture, environmental stewardship, and the importance of giving back to the community. A volunteer day is planned as part of their itinerary, showcasing their commitment to the spirit of aloha.
“These girls are progressing very well quickly in the short period of time since their arrival,” said ESA All-Star team coach Jason Motes. “I am very proud of how they are pushing themselves.”
